heres how i feel.  there are only 2 ways a thread could be so offensive that you would have to remove it.  it either contains foul language, or it PERSONALLY attacks a certain person.  other than that, admin you need to let these threads go.  i get that nobody wants to see negativity about UB on here, but this is where UB fans like myself go to dicuss UB athletics. The good and the bad.  this has started to really annoy me and has begun to make me less interested in checkking this board as frequently as i used to.  i am sure that im not the only person who is getting annoyed and discouraged to visit this board.  id advise backing down from this fight and loosening your grip on this board.  you will lose people, including myself.  and dont bother feeding me bs to explain how im irrational, or wrong.  ive watched this board long enough, and more specifically recently as the problem has really grown.

I think it was removed more because people just kept repeating themselves over and over. There were no new points being made, and half the comments didn't even make sense. It doesn't have anything to do with admin disliking the subject matter.

why not a entirely separate 'yo mama' board, where essentially anything goes, and the rest of the board gets locked down tight to topic (but w/ minimal thread locking- things just get moved to jo mama if they're out of line)?  that way those who want to talk about those issues can, everyone else can just avoid that board.  one of my favorite sites (advrider.com) works on that premise...  keeps a good, active user base, who become a COMMUNITY, rather than a random collection of sports fans who have nothing else to talk about, because they have a spot where they can talk about whatever...

I'm sorry, but creating a "Yo mama"  board is not the solution to anyone's problems

Thats not what Yo mama said
