Sounds like the QB race is open.

I'm hoping Jackson Tyree Jackson wins it because that means that he really stepped up and won the job.

That article gets me excited for the season. Of course it is against ourselves but it reads as if some of the guys have put in the work to be productive this season.
Go Bulls!

I'm hoping we convert Jordan Johnson to QB since he's the only player on the roster besides Rohach with a touchdown pass.

Good scrimmage.  The QB play was very impressive.  LL will have to make some tough choices, although I suspect that Grant will get the nod with Tyree at #2 and Chris at #3.  I was impressed with how strong Tyree's arm is.......he seemingly flicks his wrist and the ball flies for a tidy distance.  Chris played well too though.  He showed a lot of poise and was selective in where and when to throw.  Grant played like a senior............which is a good thing.

Dar said that unless Chris' parents were there for the Spring Scrimmage, likely she and Chris were the only two Albertan's in the crowd.  You can take the girl out of the country, but..............

Brandon C showed the motor a time or two, and looks set for a big year.  The receivers looked good, but it was nice to see TE play in the repertoire.

Anyway, a great day for UB football.  We saw lots of friends; met some new ones; saw Brook working the sidelines; and got to take Chubby's new toy for a test spin (It's not a car).

All in all, just another wonderful day supporting the Bulls.

Great to hear the QB was good.

It's great that there's a strong sense of community among fans.  You got to test drive a toy?  What was it a motorcycle?

Not only terse, but ambiguous as well, intentionally so apparently.

I thought the QBs looked excellent. But was that due to the fact the defensive backfield was weak or the QBs that good???? Merchant was on the money, but threw a lot of high-arcing moon balls with the exception of one laser for a 40 yd TD. Not a big fan of the moon ball, but he did hit his receivers. Thought Rohach was extremely poised and accurate. Jackson has great measureables, but time will tell if that translates to the field. If it does we'll have a huge star. Mabry is a beast of a tight end who is a huge target and would seem to be a star in the making. The tale of the tape will be the lines. Running game was limited with the exception of some better runs near the end of the scrimmage, but a lot of 2 and 3 yd'ers before that. Is the D line really good or the O line in need of work or some combination of the two?????

I will add that the Murchie Center is coming along nicely.  It is amazing how much office/conference/team rooms are going to be inside it.  That is not even counting, what is surely to become the talk of the facility, the lamp post room.
