Just figured I would start this thread, somebody had to. What bothered me the most was he implied him and Oats were peers. Dakich, not even a water boy.

Dan Dakich is just your average miserable, old hack who had a failed coaching career and now he has to project his jealousy in that manner toward Oats and the MAC.

The whole thing just came off as unprofessional. Your network is covering the MAC championship game so during the lead-in you trash the conference? He claims he stayed in the MAC too long... he never even won the damn conference (to my memory)! ESPN should be ashamed to allow that kind of trash leading into a conference championship.

Oh PLEASE send this clown to cover a game at Alumni next season. We're not nearly done heckling him after he completely bungled that game here at the end of his BGSU tenure. We had to settle on "Bowling Green cheats!" for a few years, when what they deserved was "Run, Dakich, Run!"

What an ass. He's still bitter over the "no g^&*amn socks" game, so he wants UB to be unsuccessful. He coached 10 years at BG, never winning a title. His team had a .500 record in his 10 years. Nate's been at UB for 3, won twice.

I think Iowa coach Fran McCaffery said it best about Dakich..."He's a TV guy. If he was a coach, he'd be coaching. I should tell him to go buy some lottery tickets. He'd have a better chance to win the lottery than to ever in any way recommend what I should do with my player or my team."
