We will be a scary first round matchup for anyone, I’d expect a 13 seed, but wouldn’t be shocked by a 12 or 14. We will see how other conference tournies end.

All the major bracketologists have us as a 12 seed. I'd be surprised if we were lower.

This team is much better than the other two teams that went to the tourney. I think the first year we went if Moss wasn’t hurt would almost match up with this team. This team is so deep.

I remember how good Perkins and Massinburg were against Miami 2 years ago. Now they are back in the dance.

Nothing the NCAA selection committee does could ever surprise me. Just ask the 2005 Bulls.

Three out of four!

Congrats to the best UB board in existence! It's been a great ride.

Congrats to the Bulls!  The team this year was my favorite in all of the 30 years that I have been following Bulls basketball.

I really like this team and Nate lets them play an exciting brand of basketball.  They were the best team in the conference and I am glad they were able to pull it off today.

Time to break through with a tourney win later this week.

Go Bulls!
The State University of New York.

Blue. White. Damn Right.

ESPN projected 5 seeds:

Texas Tech
Ohio St
Kentucky
Clemson

Right now bracketology had us playing Ohio State. I'd much rather see us play against Gonzaga personally, just because I think they're the weakest of the 5 seeds, but Ohio St is probably the next on the list.

Let's go bulls

When the Bulls brought in Clark, I thought "do they really need another guard?"  Today the answer was: absolutely.  On a night when CJ was cold, Perkins was off underneath, and Harris wasn't on fire, Clark led the team.  Can't say enough about his propensity for big buckets at big times over the half season he played.

Credit to Toledo, they played it well - try to slow down the game, get back in transition.  I was frustrated with Perkins' play underneath tonight but he came through with a big 3 down the stretch.  McRae had a couple good defensive plays in the second half.  On a night when they weren't shooting as well as usual, they found a way.

That winning feeling never gets old.  Great job, Bulls.

Finally getting around to catching up after enjoying some great times in Cleveland. Absolutely exhausted. Great comments above.

I know we generally agree this is the best UB team we’ve seen in quite a while. MAC regular season and tourney champs with a 26-8 record makes that a winning argument. Despite that the 15 team was a 12 seed, this one a 13 seed and 16 a 14 seed. Each championship is special. The 16 team was unexpected so it was sweet especially with a buzzer beating 3. We had a sense this would be a special one with how we played the top caliber teams tough, Oats optimism, and how we got rolling in conference play. The 15 chip though will remain tops for me because we broke the glass ceiling and made the Big Dance. Coming on the heels of bitter disappointment of the prior year with McRea and such high expectations which as I recall it made the fan base quite morose made it all the sweeter.
