I’ve been watching this game long enough to know that the loss of a key player can cause the house of cards to come tumbling down. Next season’s team may look great on paper, but it doesn’t guarantee they will play as a cohesive unit. I understand the hype and expectations for next season are justifiably high. Turning those expectations into reality is what distinguishes the great coaches. They have to recruit more than just raw talent — their players have to fit the system and understand their role. No easy task.

agreed.  but i'm more worried about the raw talent replacing clark - it was nice to see such a dynamic playmaker at UB.

I’ve been trying to find results how the MAC and Wes did in that 3 on 3 seniors tourney during the final four. All I can find is that the BIG10 team won. Anyone know if Clark made himself any money?

They lost their first two games, I'm not sure they even got to play their final first round game.

There were 32 4-player teams divided up into 8 pools. Those pools were Round Robin to see which 8 teams advanced to the quarterfinals. Big West from their pool went 3-0 and their third game was immediately preceeding MAC's 3rd game.

It is too bad Fletcher is hurt, I think him and Clark could of done some serious damage.

@ProBBallCombine has been tweeting some of the stats from their recent event.  Here are a few that I saw about Wes...

3/4 court sprint - 3.16 seconds (good for 20th in the main combine)
Max vertical leap - 39.5 inches (good for 12th in the main combine)
Standing vertical leap - 32 inches (good for 10th in the main combine)

Looks like Wes is going to play ball in Italy.  Happy that he gets a shot to play professionally but boy do I wish we could have him back for this season.  He was clutch and brought a sense of calmness when things got intense.  I only hope that guys like Jordan, Caruthers and Graves learned from him while he was here. The PG position beyond Jordan is there for the taking.  If Segu is a quick study, by February he could have a major role.
