A Home-Home with UH would be pretty nice.  You could play a Week Zero game to offset the costs...

Sounds like they are flying commercial, with a minimum of two and one half hours to an airport.  If they were flying charter they could leave from Albany directly.

It looks like it will be three players to a room.  There are a number of expenses not covered, including getting the equipment to and from the plane in Hawaii.  There will need to be a number of rental vehicles needed.  These expenses will eat into the payout.

Despite what is included in the contract, it is a lot of uncomfortable travel for $150,000.00.

This hurts my feelings.

Definitely not a fun trip for the equipment staff. Everything would have to be flown on the plane which means condensing a lot of equipment into duffel bags instead of leaving it in the travel and sideline trunks.

Fun trip, but would be too expensive for the average fan like myself.
Maybe in 20 years for me.  I can freely take a trip to Hawaii to watch a football game.

YYZ -> HNL is extremely reasonable year round, only way I can afford to ever head back east.

Problem with  that is the same thing that stopped the International Bowl.  The whole team would need proper documentation for going to Canada.  Although, it hasn't stopped the Bahamas Bowl yet.

If they were going ALB - YYZ - HLN they wouldn't need to clear customs and immigration right?

I meant for fans...Buffalo area fans could get a RT from Toronto for 400-500 which is crazy cheap. When I go home, I usually fly to Toronto and drive down.  BUF to Honolulu is probably 1000-1500 RT.

Would not work if anyone ever had a DWI.

That should go away after 10 years, or even sooner with proper paperwork.

Not true. I still have unused tickets to the Montreal Jazz festival that can attest to this. Canada will let you back for like $750 bucks to the consulate and 2 recommendations from arresting officer, employer and or judge. When I found this out I decided father Canada. I’ll spend my money in Mexico and elsewhere. I’m fine with it, and I enjoy the South Park movie more now.
