Some love for UB...

Pete has been consistently high on UB the entire off season.  While he may be a tad optimistic, it's fun to read positive stuff!

This year's MAC schedule really favors the Bulls. Only @Ohio and @Toledo are really tough games. Temple will be a challenge in the OOC. But if the Bulls win less than 8 I will be disappointed.

I have been waiting for UB to show up in the Orlando Sentinel's pre-season countdown. They had Miami, OH at 63 yesterday, Arizona at 62 today. It will be an amazing East race if both Ohio and UB are predicted as Top 60 programs!

The CFN review missing Drew Anderson's transfer, placing him at #5 on offence, makes me wonder who will be the real  #5 player, Ksiezarczyk, Mabrey, or Hawkins, perhaps.

It's getting exciting, NIU at #60, still no UB yet!

UB doesn't win the Wooden Spoon of the top 60.  BYU in @ 59.  Here is the MAC, and the rest of next season's opponents so far...

My optimism is tempered after reading their prediction for UB last year.  What, 120something for a team that finished 6-6?

(I'm not familiar with this publication, maybe they are usually more accurate?)

I dont think anyone foresaw the offensive improvement coming last season. Thats why many publications had us pegged so low. We went from 10 points in the 1st quarter 2016, to 130 in 2017. Nearly doubling our PPG. Johnson's addition made the offense dynamic instead of a downer.

We missed Detroit last year on a missed FG and a bad call to go for 1 and not 2.  Second in the east would be a huge disappointment given the roster we have.
So, thunder through, Go Blue! Give a Cheer, never fear!
