I'm personally all for new unis but I honestly liked the old ones better... The only thing I like is the new shade of red helmet compared to the old one.

Well deserved. Can't wait to see what he can do this year. Should be huge for the other receivers with how much attention he will likely get

I believe our kicker is still Mitcheson. Could definitely use some more consistency from him in his senior year. Not sure who is up next in line

I also say 8 wins. As a Bulls fan I'm always cautiously optimistic but I feel good about the season. My biggest concern is tyrees health. Is he back to 100%? Do we limit his designed runs? Injuries are always the problem with mobile qbs

I'm so scared haha

They open with the Bulls Championship game.  Only two schools nicknamed Bulls.

Came here to say this. Was wondering when we would see a matchup between our two schools.

Sucks that this will be pretty close to a home game for them

Only got to watch parts of the game last night. Happy we pulled out the win and swept Akron this year (even if it isn't a down year for them).

Refs were atrocious per usual. Calls both ways that were just mind blowing.

We should prob sit Wes against BG. He's had the lingering shoulder issue that doesn't seem to keep him out of games but you'd think in a mostly meaningless game it would be wise to get him as close to 100% before things get serious. Plus it gives the other guys some extra practice dealing with being down one of our top scorers.

Can't wait to see that updated banner next year with the regular season crown in our hands!!

It's sad what's been going on in Akron this year but they'll be back. That's a strong program with a dedicated fan base for sure. I have no doubt after a little rebuilding they'll be a force again.

I agree though hopefully that doesn't happen to us. I love coach Oats

No doubt in previous years I would've been more happy about this win. Any away MAC win is huge and CMU isn't a bad team. It may be nit picking but at some point we are going to have to figure out how to close out a game. It's so incredibly important in the Mac tourney and beyond and if we aren't careful and fix that sometime soon we are going to have a disappointing end to an otherwise wonderful season.

We really need to go to NIU and assert our dominance and put that game away in the second half as opposed to what we've been doing as of late.

The loss last night still stings today. I even knew this was gunna be a rough one but after having an 18 point lead in the first half I'm especially bitter. Earlier in the season we had mediocre first halves and would pull away in the second half like great teams do. Now it's flipped and does not make me feel good come tournament time.

You could just feel they Kent was going to squeak it out the whole second half and then energy wasn't there for the bulls.

MAC refs suck but they're always partial towards the home team...including us. The one call that drove me nuts though was the lack of goaltending. We didn't get a replay but holy cow from my perspective that thing was halfway down in a critical time. Everything counts when you lose by only 3 and I thought that was garbage.

Kent doesn't scare me when they're not at home though.

I agree this team needed to learn a lesson but when you're undefeated in conference and on a major win streak I don't agree with giving them a message on the road during a nail biter like this. You play to win the game. Let's hope the team responds though for the rest of the season. I see @CMU being a rough one and closing out the season @BG but besides for that we should be able to get back to our winning ways.

Kent inched a little closer at the end making some tough 3s but that can't last all game (hopefully) let's keep the foot on the gas in the 2nd

Can confirm Kent arena is like a HS gym. Alumni truly is nice and the lighting and video board they added a while back really helped tremendously. But nothing is as bad as niagaras gym. It's terrible

I'm also pretty worried about tonight. It's never easy to win at Kent. Didn't we get our first win there ever just a few years back with McCrea? Pretty sure I was at that game.

I don't mind athletics promoting the next game we just can't have the players thinking ahead to WMU that's all. If they win tonight it's more fuel for athletics to use to get people to the game Friday. If we lose they will try and downplay it as much as possible and hope nobody notices.

Really hope we can play our own game and take the W to make Friday crazy. Let's go bulls

« on: January 27, 2018, 02:31:49 AM »
That was a stressful one to watch tonight however it's always difficult to get a win at the convo so a win is a win and I'll take it.

Stupid turnovers really kept Ohio in this one. Don't know what was up with Perkins shuffling his feet today but those were blatant travels.

Smart was a man possessed today. Played freakin awesome all around. It's been said many times before but it's truly amazing how someone steps up when others are struggling. Really gives me a good feeling about this team. There are just so many options we could go to.

Lets keep the momentum rolling at Kent. I'm definitely nervous about that one more than
I was tonight though. Bulls get a win at Kent and alumni is going to be rocking. Can't wait!

Yea seriously. It's clear that shoulder just gets touched the wrong way and it's totally re aggravated putting him in a ton of pain. At some point we need to let him rest. We are going to need him 100% for the Cleveland and beyond.

I just agree with squire too. BEAT THE BRONCOS
