I am so proud of these guys and the coaching staff.  Really jazzed about next year.

Now let’s really get behind the football team!

I am well aware of the administrative policies of the Buffalo News.

Enthusiastic support is one thing.  Benign neglect is another.  It's the outright hostility from certain members of the writing staff that pisses off this septuagenarian "verbal commit".

As the Good Lord used to say, never get in an ass-kicking contest with a one-legged man.

I am so sick of the wobbly willies who are constantly attacking the UB football program.  Some of them even masquerade as "sports writers".  They propose a deemphasis down to the FCS level.  That would certainly be great for a large state university, now wouldn't it?

Perhaps I missed it, but can anyone tell me what Billionaire Boy Buffett has ever done to support UB athletics?

ESPN says it all:

Brooklyn, that makes me feel so good to see that!  (And I have been going to UB games for 59 years)

Rumor has it that next year Syracuse is going to play the University of Western Southeastern North Dakota at Hoople.  How do you like them directions?

Thanks, guys.  It would be nice if we could keep the crowds above 20,000.  Another step on a long, long road.

Props to the Glenn Miller reference...
Both Brooklyn and Duke Ellington say the same thing:  "Take The A Train".

Here's my question.  Would it be possible to take a train all the way from Buffalo to Yankee Stadium?
In the 1950's, we would often take the New York Central train to NYC.  Beautiful glass-domed observation car and great scenery along the Catskills.
"You leave the Pennsylvania Station 'bout quarter to four,  read a magazine and then you're in Baltimore, dinner in the diner, nuthin' could be finer, than to have your ham and eggs in Carolina"

Nice to be back on the site after 3 years of illness.  Beautiful day and great win on Saturday, but didn't hear any announcement of crowd size.  We guessed about 17,000, but does anyone know the official number?

Suggested new media campaign slogan for the Chamber of Commerce:  "Buffalo...At Least We're Not Detroit".

In the past, mh 55 has called the MAC a "shambles conference" and has stated "I still can't believe we play football in this conference".  Now he says "we will avenge the MAC".

It's always nice to see personal improvement.
