Buffalo Bulls Football / Nice article about UB
« on: October 16, 2013, 11:08:10 AM »
Personally, I am still on the fences with Quinn... Actually, Quinn reminded me of the same issue Michigan have with Al Borges as the OC... That is besides the point but a nice article from Rickman

I know this is not the BCS ranking but was interesting..

Check where buffalo rank in this ranking?

Buffalo Bulls Football / Mack and a picture of new jerseys
« on: July 24, 2013, 07:57:30 AM »
Though there is a thread for the new jerseys and the article show a picture of it, the discussion on the article was all about Mack.. Potential 2nd rounder and being part of candidates for many defensive awards..

as per

Will be making an unofficial visit to UB today

Steven Means, OLB, University at Buffalo

Means put up a 40 time in the 4.6s at Buffalo's pro day, and that helped NFL scouts project him to make the switch from undersized collegiate defensive end to outside linebacker. At 6-3, 257, Means has good speed off the edge and finished his collegiate career with 18½ sacks, including 11 tackles for loss and 6½ sacks as a senior in 2012. In addition, Means shows a penchant for kick blocking, with three to his credit for the Bulls last season, and five in his UB career.

After playing at end for Buffalo, Means proved this spring that he has the athleticism to drop into coverage, with good hands and fluid change-in-direction skills. He figures to garner interest in the late rounds, and could earn his NFL roster spot as a special team standout who can also develop into a quality reserve linebacker with nickel package responsibilities.

Buffalo Bulls Basketball / Toledo vs Ohio?
« on: March 08, 2012, 09:16:16 AM »
This would be an interesting game considering the trend.. Toledo did beat Ohio.. They are winners of 8 of 10....

Feb 8            vs OHIO W 77-73
Feb 11    @ BGSU  L 66-63
Feb 15        @ BALL W 63-55
Feb 18    @ SHSU W 59-58
Feb 22    vs CMU W 72-67
Feb 25    vs WMU W 83-74
Feb 29    @ NIU  L 65-61
Mar 3    vs EMU W 76-51
Mar 5    vs M-OH W 60-53
Mar 7    vs CMU*  W 75-72

Mar 8    vs OHIO* 9:30 PM ET

I would not be surprised if Toledo knock off Ohio... But what is everyone's take?

His annual report and Khalil Mack comes up in the article...

LB Khalil Mack, Jr., Buffalo (Two stars in Class of 2009): Former Buffalo coach Turner Gill had to beat out Liberty to secure a commitment from Mack, who probably would start for all but a handful of schools in the country. As Tennessee prepared to face the Bulls last year, Volunteers coach Derek Dooley warned his offensive players repeatedly about No. 46. "He's a hard worker," Tennessee offensive tackle Ju'Wuan James told the Knoxville News-Sentinel. "Coach Dooley said he's a guy that's on the wrong team." Mack finished third in the nation with 20.5 tackles for loss, and the 6-3, 248-pounder's ability to disrupt an offense makes him perpetually fearsome. How fearsome? Mack even seems terrifying as he strums a Jason Mraz tune.

Since UB is facing them on Sat, the NIU team lose another team member
