Congratulations to Nate. Tony Bennett received 50 of 65 votes with two others getting five and four and six others one each. I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes coach of the year in the future. Time to get your family, friends, colleagues and all of their friends etc out to Alumni Arena and get in in the foundation of great things for UB men’s basketball.

Buffalo Bulls Basketball / Congratulations to CJ!

CJ named to Lou Henson All American Team. Congrats!

It was great to see this. UB was one of the best mid-major teams in the country. Despite that none of our players were named to honorable mention All American while POTYs from many weaker conferences and teams were. It seems a little more thought went into this list. Therefore imo this recognition is more meaningful. Congrats again to CJ!

This podcast is OUTSTANDING!!!! This is a must listen for every UB fan, administrator etc. It provides an in depth look into Nate's coaching background and the type of person he is. We have all been impressed by the results. You will be even more impressed with the man after you finish listening. I am even more convinced that we would be hard pressed to find anyone better suited to lead UB Men's Basketball than Nate.

I'm sure Felisha has a similar story.

He does not sound like someone on the road out of town.

I think we need to think outside the box. While I believe Nate will be here next year there is a great deal of uncertainty the year after especially with another excellent team. If I was the new AD I’d sit down with Nate ASAP and ask him point blank what needs to be done to keep him here long term. I would also be looking at big time financial boosters and potential boosters and approach them to see if they could fund a Nate Oats coaching annuity so that his salary could be increased even more so that he’s shown that his vision of making UB one of the top mid major programs a reality.

Sadly this beautiful team’s historic run has come to an end. They did themselves proud! UB too! And Buffalo too! Thank you Coach Jack! Thank you coaches! Thank you seniors! Thank you team!

Nate & Crystal Oats along with Jim Whitesell sightings in the stands. Great team spirit and unity!

The clip they made about our team at half time was such agreat piece. Love this team and love Felicia! Let's go Bulls!!

A foul missed. A foul called may well spell doom. Wilson should have been called for a push off on an offensive rebound and then they call a phantom foul on Hemphill which is her 5th and disqualifying foul.

You’ve got to love these ladies. No fear! All grit! Giving South Carolina fits with their D thus far! Up 10-6 w/ 4+ minutes to go in 1st quarter.

That’s good for Bonaventure at least. Still don’t think Oats is leaving this year. Next year, sure. And for his sake hopefully a program that’s not at the bottom of the heap.

Read some scuttlebutt about Schmidt possibly at Xavier if Chris Mack goes to Louisville which seems like it’s going to happen. Schmidt supposedly going to meet with administrators at Bona tomorrow. Apparently he isn’t happy about something. That’s per a Bona press type
