You really do not know what the next game is going to look like in the tourney. As they say "That's why they play the game". Kentucky looked like world beaters against us driving, hitting 3 pointers and even free throws but against Kansas State had tough game in all areas. How about Michigan! A tough first two games shooting poorly especially from 3 point line and what happens against Texas A&M. They shoot lights out from the 3 point line and Wagner after averaging 8 points goes off for over 20. One game does not mean it will translate to to the next especially when in the next game a team shoots poorly or comes up against a hot shooting team. Hope to see the lowere seeded teams advance to the final four. Go Bulls!!!

For Bearden after he was suspended for a few games due to violation of team rules that changed his attitude and the thinking of the team. Another case of a player listening to people who think they have his best interests and in many cases it can backfire on the player. Him being suspended did not help his chances of going to a P-5 school or a school in a larger conference. Once he wanted to transfer I think it was the right move not to bring him back.

I do think we have a chance against SC if we continue to play like our last two games. SC has 6ft5 Wilson and 6ft3 Jennings and even if they go off for 20+ points we will have a chance if we can keep the other players in check. I don't think SC is any quicker or more athletic than the two Florida teams we played. Another game to show our talents on national tv. Go Bulls!!!

With what Coach Jack has done the last few years being one of the top teams in the MAC and putting UB on the national scene it should be a no brainer for Mr. Alnutt to give the caoching staff an extension with salary bumps. I think Coach Jack would stay here especially with Dillard here one more year and I would think she wants to continue all this success and start with a new recruiting class that on paper seems to have the potential to be very good. Coach Jack has some 6ft3 women coming in along with another point guard. But it is always uncertain how quickly they will develop. It should make for a interesting year. Go Bulls!!!

One thing I forgot to mention. Even though he didn't play in live action until now, I would believe that he made the team much better by going against him in practice/on scout teams since he got here.

Absolutely this.
[Right on the money about Wes. That was stated many times during the year that Wes was a part of the team and they formed a bond. You can never underestimate the chemistry that is formed between players and how it translates to the court. It certainately worked. Go Bulls!!!!

Tremendous win and at loss for words. This team has continued to impress all year both on the road and especially at home. Hearing many of the interviews with players and coaches you can tell this is a team that believes in itself and has a never give up mentality. The positive vibes and national exposure can only help the remaining players that are on the team along with the future recruiting process. Not sure any national media gave us or Central Michigan a chance to win these first two games. UB held their own against two Florida teams that on paper were bigger and more athletic. What stood out was our defensive intensity which we have seen all year. I believe we were truly under estimated from the get go. Congrats to the entire team for giving the truly passionate fans a season that will never be forgotten and is not over yet. Go Bulls!!!!

Wow!! Wow!! What an ubelievable win. Another great team win with their great team defense and shooting lights out again. Been saying all year that more fans should see this team play. Congrats to the entire program. Calling for my tickets tomorrow and on to Albany. Will have more comments about the game tomorrow. Go Bulls!!!!

I can't see Graves as a point guard. He is more of a two guard and Reese is the same way. The whole key is if both Hamlet and Segu can come in and play even remotely like Clark and that might be asking too much. Have not seen much film on Hamlet but seen a lot on Segu and potentially he could turn out to be a key piece along with Jordan who will need to show improvement in all parts of his game. Go Bulls!!!!

General Discussion / Re: - your feedback is needed

All great ideas and this really shows how the interest and enthusiasm has increased since our success with coaches Hueley, Oats and Jack. A lot of us are some of the older fans that have been around for ages - Ha! Ha! I am even going to be upgrading my computer system. This forum has been great in getting different perseptives and insights from so many people that care about UB athletics. I think that are still many out there that are not into Face time or snapchat etc. but I know that is the sign of the times. I hope the does not change to much for fans like us. But thanks for all the positive feedback. Go Bulls!!!!

Right on the money mikescherrer8 about our 4/5 positions.I have been saying that all year. It so hard at the mid major level to find that big time athletic quality big man at the 4/5 position. Both Smart and McCrea are very limited and not consistent. It will be interesting to see if Bertram shows any improvement next year. We were able to get away with their weaknesses in the MAC but it becomes very difficult when playing top tier teams. I don't see much improvement next year unless the coaches can hit on some JUCO type player or some player that fell thru the cracks like CJ did. The recruits that coach Oats are looking at for after next year show they know what they need. Most of the players they are looking at at big, athletic front line players. Go Bulls!!!!

All the talk seems to be Smart leaving and what about Johnson? I wonder about Reese if he is going to stay with both Hamlet and Segu coming in. It is probably too late to find a quality, athletic big man that we really need. Hope coach Hodgson can work his magic and maybe find a JUCO player or some other hidden gem that has not signed yet. Shoulod be anxious anticipation for next season. Go Bulls!!!!

It will really be a good test for UB. Florida State has a number of women over six foot, four players averaging in double figures with two more at nine and eight points a game. They play a pressing type defense and like to run uptempo. They average over 80 points a game and are 14-1 on their home court where this game is being played. Another game where we will need to shoot at a high percentage and not turn the ball over. I look for UB to continue their run. Go Bulls!!!!

Agree, the potential is there for next year with our returning players and good recruits but it all has to come together to be successful. This year was like a perfect storm. Only losing one home game, our shooting % of over 50% in many, many games and many teams in the MAC having down years along with many of the teams having many underclassmen. Already looking forward to next year with increased excitement and attendance at our games for both the men and women. Go Bulls!!!

Right on the money BasketBull. He was the catalyst that enabled the CJ's,Perkins and Harris to play their roles. It will be interesting to see who can run the show next year. Will it be a Hamlet or Segu? Jordan hopefully will improve his ball handling and decision making along with his shooting touch. Thanks Wes Clark for giving us more thrills and memories from the first game to the last. Go Bulls!!!!
