Uniform changes should be the least of your concerns, particularly for coordinators, QBs, skittish cornerbacks, weak offensive lineman, frail parents...

Mr Riordan penned an inaccurate and error filled column about Buffalo's upcoming game tilt with Temple on SBNation Bull Run. Though he was correct about the Owls thoroughly dominating Buffalo in its last 3 meetings, he veered off the stat and score sheet and tried to interject analysis and fell flat on his face. Per the Officila MAC History Books, Temple indeed is considered co- East Division Champs in 2009 however, they didnt represent the East in the MACCG due to losing the tie breaker. Additionally, when the befuddled Riordan states the "MAC threw Temple a lifeline" by inviting them into the conference, he fails to recognize in return, Temple attempted to rehab the MAC's horrendous basketball conference by agreeing to play 8 games (4 men and women) each year to offset your league's dismal RPI ratings. Both Temple's Men and Women's teams were perennial tournament participants in those years. The Men's team brought the winningest programs to all the campuses we visited and the Women never lost a MAC game during this time.

Riordan, perhaps another career course is in order or, at the very least, a remedial class on your own conference.

If you look closely, zooming in about the 8 yard line in the uncomfortable bench visitors seating, you can see me. A terrible "]["emple loss but since our Houdini Act of vanishing from the MAC, we have suffered several more...Fordham, UCF and the worst, blow just 2 years ago, to Rutgers in Big East play.

I hope you fare well. My bankroll is counting on you

I graduated in the late 80's so I have only been living with 30 years of misery. I have witnessed at least a dozen losses. I don't hate Penn St but I acquaint them with a late October trip to Kent. I spent last season begging Temple to pressure Hackenberg. Though I am eloquent and informed, our Defensive Coordinator took no heedm in my wisdom. This year, we beat up Hack and OL. Buffalo cant allow hi to sit back and pick apart your secondary which he is more than capable of doing. I think I will take the 20 because you will either keep it tight or be the victim of all classless James Franklin's frustration.

Btw, I noticed Turner Gil is at Liberty. To be honest, I didn't follow him much after he left UB but doesn't seem like his career has went well since he benefitted greatly from the perfect confluence of Willy, Starks and Roosevelt on lowly MAC defenses.

Pressure Hack Slay the Lion

Yes that's a good trip. Saints are hosting the Panthers the next day and the SEC champ G ame is that night, making fir a pretty wild evening in the French Quarter. Next year, we have Notre Dame and Penn St coming to town. I'm hoping we can win 6 games and go to a bowl game. We have some problems but we finally have a decent QB.

Would like to see a series with UB.

In all seriousness, Mack is a player. He may very well be the top Def players selected.

I'm still shocked Temple didn't see this guy. Good thing for you, I suppose.

We won as many titles as you a lot less time. 2009, according to official MAC record books, Temple was co-winner of the East w Ohio. Ohio represented the East by way of the tie breaker formula. Look it up, after all, you should know something aout your own conference.

Temple did land a TV Contract. And that contract pays us 4-5 times the money we made combined with the A10 and the MAC. In addition, Temple will reap a windfall of monies in the sharing of Big East exit fees, naming right and secondary and tertairy contract deals.

In other words, while many schools are cashing in on their brand, Tenmple was able to secure a deal which has us more than treading water through this very difficult time in college athletics. What additional monies has Buffalo secured? Are you going to put the burden on New York taxpayers to sustain a program nobody but a couple dozen people or so care about ?  Perhaps you can sue your Canadien brothers to the north for something. And your area always has figured out a way to extort the American Indian ...

Enjoy. We wont be back

The BE references are amusing since we know you and every other team in the bottom feeding MAC would kill for a chance at a TV contract and a league that has a chance to play on a national stage.

I went to all 3 Temple games in Buffalo. The last one was amazing in that I simply walked onto the field wih my camera. It was like a pee wee game atmosphere. One of the players actually thanked me for coming. I snapped photos like this one. I was almost in the huddle, it was yet another example of how much of a joke the MAC was......
